Me, Marla, and Jonsey are watching people going into combat. Later on a car is coming in fast. It comes to a stop. I see people in the shadows. I don't know what to do.

I " think " the war is over. All of the Iraqi's cheered for us. There is a rumor that we are going home in two weeks. I am so exited!

There was an ambush of some kind. An ambulance comes racing towards us with weapons and guys in it. We get in the humvees. Marla gets on the squad gun and we start shooting at the guys and the ambulance. My heart was racing.

We were searching a house, or something. We found Iraqi women, babies, and men. They were all scared. We were searching the Iraqis for weapons and the house, or whatever. Marla found a huge tub of flower. The dentonator was in it.

I sent Uncle Rhichie an email, and I hope he likes it. In the letter I told him that a guy tried to kill himself today.

Today we had a new soldier. His name is Jerry. We asked him if he was good at soccer. He was! We had a small game against the Iraqi kids. We stunk.
